Before the bouncy castle arrives, thorough preparation of the designated area is essential to ensure safety and smooth installation. Firstly, please clear the space of any debris, sharp stones, and garden waste, including dog mess, to prevent damage to the castle and injury to users. Ensure the ground is fairly level and spacious enough to accommodate the castle's size, including additional space for anchoring and safety mats. Check for overhead hazards like tree branches or power lines. Also, prepare an accessible power source for the blower, and keep a pathway clear for easy and safe delivery and setup by us.

23. Are bouncy castles waterproof?

Bouncy castles are designed with weather resilience in mind, using materials like PVC or nylon, which are water-resistant. While they can withstand light showers, heavy rain can pose safety risks. Water can make the surface slippery, increasing the chance of accidents. Additionally, the blower system is not 100% waterproof and should be kept dry at all times. During heavy rain there are TWO options available. The first option is to keep the inflatable inflated but with a white plastic picnic table over the blower to prevent the blower from sucking in rainwater and forcing it into the castle where the water will collect INSIDE the castle and make collection more difficult The SECOND option is to deflate the castle during significant rainfall to avoid damage and ensure user safety. and cover the entire bouncy castle with a large sheet of tarpaulin which we supply for you. For optimal enjoyment, bouncy castles are best used in dry conditions, although a light drizzle won’t necessarily halt the fun.
